This is the blog of PhD student Erin Turner and intends to serve as a chronological record of my research and reflections.

Why did I decide to do a PhD? (In case I go mental from the research and need reminding)

1. Because I had questions.
2. Because I didn’t want to stop learning.
3. Because I missed the intellectual stimulation of study.
4. Because I am able to spend the next three years immersed in a subject that I am passionate about.
5. Because it is a practice based PhD which is aligned with my strengths as a design practitioner.
6. Because I am crazy? (maybe)

* This blog is imperfect. It may contain incomplete thoughts and typos.
